We're the one your vet calls.

WAITING ON ANSWERS?

You don’t have to.

Your pet's first imaging appointment wasn't conclusive. Neither was the second. Weeks pass, the money you'd set aside for treatment goes to scans that don't land, and the thing you hoped to catch early isn't early anymore.

If something still feels wrong, trust that. You're not being difficult. You're being your pet's advocate. Most of Dr. Neitman's patients come to her after one or more inconclusive studies, looking for an answer that finally fits.

You can start here. No waiting weeks for a specialist read.

WHAT WE FIND

Board certified veterinary radiologist reviewing animal imaging scans at OVDI in Oklahoma

YOUR REGULAR VET DOES A HUNDRED THINGS WELL.

Radiologists do one thing, for years.

That's why complicated imaging is supposed to land on a radiologist's desk eventually. We just think “eventually” should be earlier.

In human medicine, when an image needs a careful read, it goes to a radiologist. Veterinary medicine works the same way. There's a specialty for it, recognized by the AVMA, requiring years of additional residency training beyond vet school. Radiologists are the only specialists who make imaging-based diagnoses.

At OVDI, that's Dr. Jennifer Neitman with fifteen-plus years spent doing nothing but this. And she's happy to explain any of it.

FOUNDER — MEET DR. NEITMAN

There's a doctor whose entire job is reading your pet's imaging. And she’s right here in Oklahoma.

Dr. Jennifer Neitman, DACVR, board certified veterinary radiologist at OVDI in Edmond, Oklahoma

Dr. Jennifer Neitman is a 4th-generation Oklahoman who came home after years in academia and private specialty practice. She started OVDI to do veterinary radiology the way she'd want it done for her own pet: every scan read personally, every case followed through, every owner talked to like a human. She’s happy to explain anything. And she'd rather find the answer than just guess at it.

In her own words, “I love to teach.”

She works alongside a team of certified vet technicians, care coordinators, and fellow experts in the field.

At home: four rescue guinea pigs named Furious Peanut Unicorn, Rockin' Pickles Pineapple, Rumblin' Rolo, and Mighty Reese's. Two rescue dogs. Two English Lab puppies. And a Red-Lored Amazon parrot named Fred (who turned out to be Freda).
