WHAT TO EXPECT
From your vet's referral to clear answers
Your vet sends us the case.
Records, bloodwork, and any prior imaging go straight from your vet's office to OVDI. Dr. Neitman reviews everything before the appointment, so she's not starting from scratch.
Step 1
Talk to your vet.
If you think your pet might need advanced imaging, or if a recent imaging study didn't give you the answers you needed, mention Dr. Neitman at OVDI to your veterinarian. Many vets across central Oklahoma already refer to her. Yours may, too.
Step 2
You and your vet get the report within 24–48 hours.
A complete written report goes to your primary vet within 24–48 hours, sometimes the same day. Your vet walks you through what Dr. Neitman found and what comes next. We're also available to your vet for follow-up questions.
Step 3
Dr. Neitman performs the imaging.
She'll come to your vet's clinic to perform your pet's ultrasound, or, if your vet is outside her travel range, your pet will be seen at Schrag Animal Clinic in Oklahoma City. Either way, Dr. Neitman performs the study herself and interprets it in real time.

AFTER THE APPOINTMENT
Your vet stays in the loop.
A complete written report goes to your primary veterinarian within 24–48 hours of the appointment. From there, your vet manages the next stage of care — whether that's treatment, surgery, or simply peace of mind.
We don't replace your primary vet. We give them the answers they need to do their job. OVDI provides the imaging detail their clinic isn't built for. Plus, you and your vet now have a direct line to a board-certified radiologist whenever a case calls for one.
